The owner, Basellandschaftliche Pensionskasse (blpk), is therefore replacing it with a new modern building, the free-standing high-rise building “Hochhaus Heuwaage”.
By 2031, the new building will offer 21 floors of attractive space for retail, restaurants and offices, as well as 66 modern apartments. Dismantling of the existing building will begin in early 2026.
